Pain management

We offer high quality products for ultrasound and fluoroscopic guided pain management procedures, including a range of special hypodermic needles and RF products (echogenic and non-echogenic). In our product range, we offer products for both standard RF ablation and cryoablation. COOLIEF is a radiofrequency treatment for the relief of moderate to severe pain. It is a minimally invasive, non-opioid procedure which provides up to 24 months of relief from neck, shoulder, spine, hip and knee pain. Although not a substitute for surgery, COOLIEF provides significantly greater and longer-lasting pain relief, improved physical function, and greater patient satisfaction. COOLIEF Cooled RF is the only currently known thermal radiofrequency system using water cooling technology to deactivate sensory nerves that cause pain.

Balloon cryoablation is a relatively new method for paroxysmal atrial fibrillation ablation, developed as an alternative to radiofrequency ablation. The procedure is performed under X-ray, but without a 3D mapping system. The balloon is placed at the opening of each pulmonary vein and its interior cooled to -80ᵒC. Possible cryoablation benefits in comparison to radiofrequency ablation are a shorter procedure and only one transseptal puncture.
